In a matter of months, these 3 subscription cards were all in Hot Rod... look at the drastic differences in price, how can they all be half price?

Notice please, they all have the same "offer expires June 30, 1981"
What is that about?

backstreetwheels.blogspot.com Richard (Yo! Eastside!) is a published photographer! Compliments and congratulations!

http://backstreetwheels.blogspot.com/ for his online photography, long time recommended blog!

A variety of cool cars and stuff at the Grand National Roadster Show

It's probably never going to happen again that 2 Kaiser Darrin cars are sitting side by side. Probably hasn't happened since the last Darrin left the dealership lot.

Keep an eye on the recommended blogs in my list... they are always worth looking at!

Another late 1960's fashion clothing advertised with a sports, muscle, or race car... what was in the water among the magazine editors?

Signature magazine, October 1968 via: http://burstsausages.com/
This sort of car and clothes fashion thing amuses me, for the others I found:
the 1968 fashion magazine photo shoot with the Dodge line up for 1969: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/02/blog-post_24.html and a one page Dodge Dart ad http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/01/picture-is-worth-thousand-words-except.html http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/06/im-impressed-and-amazed-by-obscurity-of.html

Street Rodder Premier to be on the magazine racks on about Nov 9th, New magazine to lookout for, (hopefully more feature cars, less how to articles)

Free PRoTO tool set by getting subscriptions to Hot Rod magazine, 1967

That tool box might look familiar, I just found one and posted a photo of it: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/11/professional-tools-which-were-plvmb.html

JBA racing

Famous for the Mustang aftermarket headers and other things that J Bittle has developed, and done better than any competition has achieved.

Fortunately it's only 5 miles from my place and only 2 from my job. So I stopped in to see about picking up the latest issue of Overdrive (Ed Zimmerly's awesome San Diego Hot Rod newspaper). Not only do the have that one for free, they also have about 12 other magazines, all for free. Wow, and damn. Cool! 2 inch thick stack of car magazines, free!
