Miramar's Hot Rod Magazine sponsored car show

Mike's.
Mike has been the manager of the hobby shop on the base at Miramar since before I was stationed there in '95. He taught me a lot, helped me a bunch, and of the 6 Navy base hobby shops I've used, has the best run one. Thanks Mike!

This is the nicest Impala I've seen in a long while

My '69 Coronet R/T

The convertible '70 GTX that Plymouth should have made

The cool Torino that showed up just before I left the show, but wasn't in the show... goes to prove what I say to myself every car show, cool stuff is in the parking lot at every car show.

Military bases have such cool backdrop static displays, and this is one of the largest.

Lots of Impalas in Chula Vista.... do they make the best lowriders?

Is this much twist, more than the frame can take, without damage? Front and back photos

the thread at http://www.bangshift.com/forum/index.php?topic=24147.msg396826;topicseen is debating the issue, and from what little I know, if it doesn't make the car go straight faster or quicker, than it's not a good side affect. Wheels off the ground is typically a bad thing, and regularly considered a waste of power to lift the car instead of pushing it forward... so I can't understand the people whose opinion or expertise states that this is a good effect... well it's brain candy, but that isn't why they are on the dragstrip is it?
