Trucking used for advertising, quite an unusual collection from Caradisiac

Gambrinus Drivers Museum

This museum is located Belgium, at Romedenne in an authentic 19th century brewery-malting and presents a series of old trucks, especially equipped for the transport of beer. Different halls, including 70 thematic display cabinets, which are dedicated to the brands, to the makes of trucks (electricity/steam/petrol), to publicity, to truck manufacturers, etc.

Looks almost like a Tempo, but it's a Scammel truck, and this has to be the smallest semi truck / flatbed combo I'll ever see, and even better, it's a beer truck

The above beer truck is a 1960 Llyod LT 600

beer trucks, cool from the design, form, and function aspects. Cool rolling advertisements too, because at the time, alcoholic ads were illegal

2011 Del Mar Goodguys

This 56 Ford has been chopped 4", sectioned 10", and shortened 18". Tom Pagano must enjoy this immensely, he was awarded the "Texaco Havoline Pick" for the 650HP Ford Cobra powered beaut.

Love the Varga / Petty girl, and how the lavender color of the hood ornament is carried by the flame job

Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion, one of two to survive, probably number 3 of the trio Fuller made. One was found in the backyard of a Arizona suburb in the early 70's by a Car Life reader after they did a story on the Dymaxions, by a fan of Fullers interesting cars. It wasn't bought by a collector, though Harrah's buyers tried, a couple college students got money together and then let it be shown in Museums in the US... more on this story in another post.
