A Surprisingly Big Vehicle Ford S-Max

On first glance you may be utterly convinced that the new Ford S-Max is another hatchback released from Ford's reliable and well respected (if not entirely glamorous) stable. You may then be shocked to realise that the Ford S-Max is actually a fully function Multi Person Vehicle. This nugget of information may well lead you to either call me a liar, or question the very nature of physics, crying out; "How can what looks like a compact hatchback be a good MPV?!"

The answer is all in the dimensions.

The S-Max fits into the Ford range nicely in terms of size, ideal for those amongst us who need a 7-seater MPV, but by the same token, don't want to sacrifice all performance and handling as a result. In this respect, the S-Max really excels ahead of other MPVs.

The unveiling of the first official pictures of the new Ford S-Max to be released have caused a considerable amount of excitement for a car of this genre. Normally MPVs are greeted with a vaguely approving nod or at worst, a shrug of the shoulders. However, the new model has adhered nicely to the Ford 'kinetic' design aesthetic and the results are frankly astounding.

For the first time in automotive history, Ford have created an MPV that looks as sleek and stylish as any number of hot hatches or sporty saloons. I predict that the new Ford S-Max will be a hit on the forecourts due to its uncanny amalgamation of both interior space, sheer practicality and sporty style.
