This is new innovation of green technology fromkia motor manufacturer ,this project is under Kia design team Peter Schreyer,significants items was put a lot of emphasis on the aerodynamics of this concept, giving it a longer tail and, thanks to its four-inch lower roof, a smaller frontal area than the earlier Hyundai concept. The aero number will also benefit from narrower tires, with the Kia rolling on 195/50R20 tires compared to the 245/40R20 rubber on the Hyundai.

The debut of the Ray also marks the launch of Kia's new green sub-brand, EcoDynamics. Like Volkswagen's BlueMotion and Ford's Econetic, EcoDynamics will denote the most efficient variants of Kia' model line. We can expect to see the new badge showing up on Kias in the near future. Recently, the North American International Auto show in 2009, Toyota has launched their latest major vehicle produced. Asia and the car has not let the fanatics who came down with the new 2010 Toyota Prius! It's pretty cool sport 1.8-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine block, making fuel economy 50 miles per gallon! Is not it just in time for the campaign to produce more fuel efficient cars? We can bet our dollars on that!

But more than just an efficient performance, third-generation mid-size Toyota from world leaders quieter and roomier than first and second generations. It also features a highly advanced technology and electronic accessories such as solar panel moonroof, four driving modes, Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA), and steering wheel touch controls that are displayed on the instrument panel.

Prius, which means 'gone before' is the world's first mass produced hybrid. That means that Toyota has pioneered environmentally friendly car even before the awareness of the social environment becomes a major issue. In fact, manufacturers have combined in-house System with Hybrid Synergy Drive technology aggressively to come up with a smooth design for the 2010 Prius!

Since Toyota launched their Prius eco icon in the North American International Auto show in 2009, Honda did not come last with his own version of environmentally friendly vehicles! One in particular is the press of 2010 Honda Insight hybrid category has also appeared first in 2009 North America International Auto show in January and 13!

This slender beauty brings patented Integrated Motors Assist (IMA) which combines 10-kilowatt or 13 hp electric motor and a compact Intelligent Power Unit (IPU). This is a strong sport and advanced 1.3-liter SOHC aluminum-alloy i-VTEC engine and CVT. The 2010 Insight has a U.S. city and highway EPA fuel-economy rating of 40-43 miles per gallon. This five-door, five-passenger hybrid will be available in April and vehicles carrying more affordable hybrid car in the world.

HYUNDAI

You may have missed the show in 2009 North American International Auto but you do not miss the beauty of a blue 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe! The blue vehicles are also available in flame red and metallic silver is deliberately built rear-wheel driven sports coupe. It features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can come with 210 horsepower. But you can also choose to its all-aluminum 3.8-liter DOHC V6 engine block which can release more than that of the standard 306 HP!

Origin of 2010 Hyundai Coupe will be joined by the entire Hyundai car come spring 2009. Expected to bring good numbers when that finally came out in the market because interestingly different from the rest of the sports coupe in the automotive world. Most of the front wheel is driven while the rear wheels will be encouraged but it promises to provide the best driving experience for every fanatic.

As we can see, Asian cars are also the cream of the crop. They are probably the most environmentally friendly vehicle launched in the market, given the size and beauty.

Paris Preshow: 2011 Hyundai i10 Receives Makeover

Three years after its introduction, Hyundai has given its i10 a mid-cycle facelift, providing the city car with a new front snout that takes styling cues from the ix35 SUV (marketed as the Tucson in the States). Along with the hexagonal grille, the 2011MY i10 gets a reshaped bumper and new headlamps as well as a new set of exterior mirrors that now incorporate turning signals.

For the time being, we only have a single photo of the car's exterior, but it is said that the i10's interior has also received some minor tweaks.

More significant than the styling updates, however, are the changes underneath the hood as the i10 receives a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine with 68-horsepower and less than 100g/km CO2 emissions.

The i10 will make its world premiere along with the new ix20 MPV at this month's Paris Auto Show.

Hyundai to Recall Nearly 140,000 2011MY Sonata Sedans

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Hyundai is recalling certain 2011MY Sonata sedans over a potential issue with the steering system that could result in a total loss or reduction in steering capability. The recall affects all Sonatas manufactured from December 11, 2009, through September 10, 2010.

Here's how the government safety agency describes the problem with the Sonata's steering system:

"On some of these vehicles the steering column intermediate shaft universal joint connections may have been either improperly assembled or insufficiently tightened. Improper assembly or insufficient tightening of the connections could result in a complete separation or compromised attachment of the connections, such that the driver could experience a loss of, or reduction in, steering capability increasing the risk of a crash."

Hyundai said dealers will inspect the steering column intermediate shaft universal joint connections for proper assembly and torque, adding that the company will also update the power steering software free of charge.

The safety recall for the 2011 Sonata is expected to start in early October 2010. For more information, owners may contact Hyundai's customer assistance center at 1-800-633-5151.

New Hyundai Solaris: Russian-built Accent is Ready for the Ice Cold

What was shown as the Concept RB at Moscow's International Motor Show has become the Hyundai Solaris, a re-nosed Accent [Verna in South Korea] for our Cold War counterparts. Starting in January, the Solaris will be Hyundai's first model to be assembled at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant.

The Solaris name comes from a competition held earlier this year. According to Hyundai, "Solaris", derived from the Latin Sol, "implies Hyundai Motor's strong will to expand its business in the Russian Federation".

Major differences deemed necessary for the Russian market include a new front end with boomerang fog lights, less swoopy headlights with bi-color bezels, and a more blunt hexagonal grille area with a less-pronounced chin. Inside, both the Solaris and Accent should be about the same, but differences may include some trim colors/options.

The top of the range Solaris features six airbags, and Hyundai will also provide models with electronic stability control.

The big South Korean auto monster says it will be making sure that Russian Solares will be prepped and ready to handle the harsh Russian environment, including as standard a rear heating duct, 4.0-liter washer fluid reservoir (with low level sensor), a 60Ah (ampere-hour) battery "for higher cold start performance", front and rear mudguards, and a set of enduro (1,500 hour) headlamps.

Optional add-ons for our deep-north Siberian readers include a wiper de-icer, heated driver/front passenger seats, heated mirrors, and an automatic "Emergency Stop Signal" that turns on should an accident occur.

Hyundai is hoping for 85,000 sales per year in Russia (including a 5-door hatchback that arrives later in 2011) once the Solaris goes on sale in 2011. Hyundai ix20 Spotted in Poland Prior to (on the way to?) Paris Debut

Carscoop reader Jacek just caught Hyundai's new ix20 small MPV on the road in Poland before its Paris debut. Using Hyundai's new "fluidic sculpture" design language, this car's working hard to not be a box-on-wheels people mover. If it tickles your fancy, you can read all about the little MPV in our previous post. Under the hood, it'll pack 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter diesel and gasoline 4-cylinder engines.

If this is supposed to be a little Honda Fit hunter (or Nissan Versa in the US, take your pick - and yes, we know it will go against the Nissan Note in Europe), could - or should - Hyundai bring it to the States?

Now that Hyundai has begun to solidify its upper-tier segments, the ix20 could be a nice little complement to the upcoming Veloster and Elantra in the entry-level arena instead of the ho-hum Accent.

SEMA: Hyundai Teases Tricked Out 2011 Sonata Turbo, Says it's Inspired by Ferrari, Mercedes and Porsche

Hoping to build some hype around the new 2011 Sonata 2.0-liter Turbo before it arrives in showrooms later this year, Hyundai has teamed up with RIDES and 0-60 magazines to trick out the 274-horsepower-strong saloon for the SEMA show, which will take place in Las Vegas this November.

The South Korean firm has no problem admitting that the car's tune-up is inspired by Ferrari, Mercedes and Porsche models.

In particular, Hyundai says the SEMA Show Sonata's exterior modifications will be "modest and tasteful, using influences from the four-door Brabus Mercedes CLS Rocket sport coupe", adding that the interior design has been inspired by the Ferrari F430 "with strategically placed stitched leather throughout and carbon fiber trim accents." No word where Porsche fits in the tune.

Other upgrades will include 20-inch concave monobloc wheels, a matte pearl white paint and a slew of carbon fiber components including the roof, grill, interior trim, side mirrors and rear diffuser, plus turbo and intake enhancements, and a quad tip dual exhaust.

Expect more teaser shots to be released within the next few weeks.

Hyundai's Having a Ball, Sonata and Tucson Driving US Sales to the Moon

According to US Hyundai CEO John Krafcik, Hyundai is looking to set an "all-time" sales record in September partially thanks to high demand for the new Sonata sedan.

Krafcik told Autonews that September "looks fantastic [for Hyundai]. The industry looks decent -- I wouldn't say great -- but I think we're going to be fine." That's because the two latest Hyundai models to arrive have been the well received Sonata and the crisp Tucson.

Due to the firm's recent product /quality blitz, sales for 2010 have risen 17% so far and should help Hyundai pass its 500,000 unit United States sales goal this year. This follows an industry-wide drop in sales after various clunker programs in which Hyundai benefited significantly, so good for them.

These sales also include the company's very conservative goals for its Lexus-fighting Equus. Regarding the Equus' target market of full-size luxury shoppers in the market for something fresh, Krafcik continued, "We recognize that's a tough segment...We're going in with a 2,000 to 3,000 units a year sales objective, which would give us a 6 to 7 percent share."

Other than the top-line Equus, the Genesis Sedan and Coupe will receive mild updates to stay up to date; on the low end, expect the Sonata and Tucson to hold down the fort until the new Accent, Elantra sedan, Veloster small coupe (see the latest spy shots here), and Azera saloon appear in the next year or so.

Expect to see more and more of these out-of-left field Hyundais in the future as the Koreans begin to take advantage of Japanese automakers' lack of direction.
