Comparison between 60's compacts, and '08 compacts

Beware of cops hiding around corners... don't roll through this stop sign at the Southbound 805 exit at Adams Ave

Hard to see the cop car in front of the Ford truck, isn't it... but he is nice enough to walk out and wave over people who roll through thte stop sign, and give them a 300 dollar ticket for not coming to a full stop

Not easy to see him, and he parked liked that very deliberately. Well done officer

Here he is writing a ticket for the silver SUV in front

Here comes back up just rolling past on the way to 7-11 for coffee..., it's 100 feet up the road from the ticket writer, see the second photo

Here's a new way to do self guided tours of a few cities... San Diego, San Fran, Miami, Barcelona, and Lisbon

A bit pricey to me, 1st hour $49, 2nd hour $39, Each additional hour $29
But a pretty cool way to zip around the city and enjoy the perfect San Diego weather, a Time Magazine "Invention of the Year", and the typical GPS guided tour is an hour and a half: http://www.gocartours.com/sandiego/sandiego-tours-downtown.html

Great use of old car parts

Good license plate

Nissan Pao, right hand drive, and very cute for a newer car

try a 70 mpg at 40mph! 1000cc motor, 51 Hp. http://clunkbucket.com/nissan-pao-in-socal/ for a article and gallery

Closely realted to another cute little Nissan, the Figaro: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/03/nissan-figaro-cute-little-thing-rare.html

A Von Dutch Thing I never heard of... wow

For all the info, go to the link: http://motorcycleart.blogspot.com/2009/09/its-von-dutch-thing.html

I dig how Von Dutch labeled stuff, and had a sense of humor
And definitely check out http://motorcycleart.blogspot.com/2009/06/dutch-treat-as-in-von.html for a Von Dutch article in a chopper magazine

I don't remember where I found these images... but they are very cool

I think this one was from Pixdaus or Shorpy

Ah HA! that's where I got them! Skylar's facebook page! thanks man! This photo of the Chi Town Hustler was taken by Denis Scott by the Buckinham fountain in Chicago in the '70's.
It ran in the Chicago Sun Times magazine section, Pat Minnick was the driver

71 horsepower, and proud of it

If you have wondered what the largest factory displacement engine was, or if synthetic oil needs to be changed as often... here is an answer website

http://revback.com/
If you read the questions, and find there are some you know the answers to, it becomes addictive to help the people who asked them... yes, there are feedback reasons to reward you for your time and having the best answers

The 2nd biggest factory displacement engine was in the 1912 Benz 82 200, it had a 21.5 liter 4 cylinder. the biggest was the Beast from Turin, the Fiat that had 28 liters of displacement

World's largest car engine? Probably

Some great looking woodies

On top of this International is something I hadn't seen before, it's a paddle board. I couldn't find anything on the web about original style boards like this.

Not sure why they have the clothes varnished...

Compare two interiors, one was restored with a minimalist approach, the other has been let go for decades

I saw the two cars with the same gauges, and wonder why someone went to the trouble of outlining thier gauges in this odd fashion (top set)

There is a consistant wavy pattern to the way these numbers are outlined, and I didn't realize it wasn't factory until I came across the 2nd Merc and took photos of it's gauges for contrast

These (below) are a little harder to see, as the windows to this car weren't open enough for me to get better photos
