One by one, Mercedes-Benz tuning specialists are releasing details on their new performance and styling packages for the recently revealed E-Class W212. Lorinser has issued two renderings of an E-Class dressed with its currently under development bodykit that includes a new front bumper, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, side sills, wider fenders, a discreet boot spoiler, side air vents plus newly designed alloy wheels. Mechanical upgrades will include a new performance kit for the top-of-the-line E500 model. With the aid of special camshafts, an upgraded exhaust system and an adjusted control unit, the 5.5-liter V8 churns out a hefty 435HP, up from the factory version's 388HP, while maximum torque has been raised from 530Nm to 570Nm. Thanks to the removal of the electronic speed limiter, Lorinser's E500 can reach a top speed of 280km/h or 174MPH. Other modifications include a lowered sport suspension.
